We have been posting tutorials pretty much every week for the past 6 years. We believe tutorials are an amazing way to learn how to use the software we need to do our design work. But as you can see, software is just a part of the design process, important but without a good foundation and design principles you won’t be able to translate a good idea into a cohesive design...even if you are a master of Illustrator, Photoshop or any other software.

François is a very talented 25-year-old self-taught freelance graphic designer from Montreal, Canada. With this wallpaper he won the Abduzeedo World Collabs 3: James White. His design was selected among more than 80 designs from all around the globe.
The book suggestion of the week is about Jeff Bezos and the history of Amazon.com. One Click: Jeff Bezos and the Rise of Amazon.com is a really good book, very inspiring and motivating especially about believing on what you are doing and focus on the long term when doing things.
