I've been searching like a mad man for a photographer to capture my wedding. It takes patience and an eye for details, because when it comes a big event like that you just want the best person for the job.

And even the most not-related pictures count when you do that kind of search... like nature photography. Jürgen Heckel takes some awesome photographs. I really dig the feel of these, eerie, with lost of depth of field and it's obvious he's effort to make trees look good, and he succeeded in his task. Too bad great photographers like him are not Brazilian. I gotta keep searching. Anyways, I hope you enjoy these, and don't forget to pay a visit to his Behance portfolio. Enjoy! Cheers. ;)

Baffling Earth Photography

Earth is a beautiful place, people. We live in a tiny rock that has plenty life, awesome nature, stunning colors, and most times we don't appreciate it at all, losing time complaining about insignificant little things.

Whenever you get crazy about your routine, simply take a walk. Go on a trip. Get to know your city, your state. There's plenty beauty around you, and it just takes your will for you to see it all. These are a set of beautiful photographs to remind us how Earth is awesome, and that we're definitely blessed for living in such a place. These were taken by some seriously good photographers, and I really recommend you to visit their portfolio, by clicking each image, to check much more of their work. I hope you enjoy these! Sound Design: Elements of Nature

Today I would like to introduce you to a very creative technique to create sounds from elements of nature and day to day objects. I will share with you a few really cool videos.

The first one is from a japanese TV ad and what is interesting about this one is the way that the creators of this piece went all the way back to the very beginning of sound design to recreate a classic from J.S Bach.

The second video was created by Julian Smith from http://juliansmith.tv and it is called Techno Jeep. The shooting took 7 hours and all sounds are from a Jeep.

Impossible Vector Art by Human Nature 84

People always ask me If ever get bored of doing vectors and the answer is always "I can't". Why? Because, as most of you, I also got heroes on what I do and these guys are one of the main reasons I can't quit. Human Nature 84 is probably my favorite vector artist, not just because of his personal style, but because of the revolution his making on vector graphics. As me, you won't believe that every of this artworks bellow are all vector made, no mesh or blends used, just pure vector.

Ok now, even If you're not a vector fan, you should defnitely check his Flickr or his Devianart to witness the evolution of this revolutionary artist, god bless him.

Snowflakes Photography Inspiration

One of these days I was doing a search for images of nature on Flickr and DevianART and was really impressed with the photos I found of snowflakes. Snowflakes are agglomerates of frozen ice crystals falling through the atmosphere on Earth (Wikipedia). What really attracted me in the snowflakes is the fact that each has a unique, harmonic and almost perfectly symmetrical shape. It's for sure one of the most inspiring, different and beautiful source of inspiration found in nature. Hope you like it and after seeing this collection start to look more closely at all these beautiful forms that are out there in nature.

Photography Inspiration: Jellyfish

Jellyfish (also known as jellies or sea jellies or medusozoa) are free-swimming members of the phylum Cnidaria. Jellyfish are found in every ocean, from the surface to the deep sea. Jellyfish are composed of more than 90% water; most of their umbrella mass is a gelatinous material — the jelly — called mesoglea which is surrounded by two layers of epithelial cells which form the umbrella (top surface) and subumbrella (bottom surface) of the bell, or body (wikipedia).

I know many of you must hate jellyfish because of its toxicity in some species, but it is undeniable the beauty of these animals. A mix of abstract shapes and symmetrical forms, there it is a living being that possesses one of the most interesting life cycles in the animal kingdom.

I became very interested in the subject so I decided to look for good pictures that show the colors and textures of jellyfish.

Breathtaking Pictures of Africa

It definitely the most beautiful continent in our little planet... the wildest of them all, Africa is getting some attention thanks to this year's World Cup at South Africa, but we really hope that it gets more than just plain attention. We hope for major problems solving.

We've seen for so long people dying in Africa from starvation, thirst, war, etc, that in today's world, we got used to these things... but we must remember that it could be me, you, your parents there, dying of these things. I don't know... just looking at Africa and enjoying its beauty just seems a little empty now. Those people need help. We need help. This world is agonizing. I'm sad now.

... ok... just lemme finish this: you should all visit these amazing, talented photographers for more great shots. They'll appreciate. I hope you enjoy these. And think about it. Seriously. :/

Beautiful Pictures of Volcanos

We've seen these past few days the mega eruption of volcano Eyjafjallajökull that has caused big trouble all over Europe. We thought it would be nice to check the other side of these magnificient moments: the beauty of a volcano!

Erupting or not, these amazing, living mountains got a tremendous amount of energy to spend and most of these pictures catch right that moment when lava explodes through the air. Beautiful Nostalgic Nature Shots by Anna Verlet

Every so often we come across photographs that make us feel. You know what I'm talking about? Photographs that stop you in your track and make you say "Shit." Photographs that transport you to another place, maybe even another time. Sometimes you can't even define what you're feeling, it just seems like a flux of emotions all at one time and one minute you're here and the next you're there, and maybe I'm getting a little too poetic with this but what I'm trying to say is that I want to introduce you to Columbus, Ohio native Anna Verlet. Her photographs made me feel this way.

Anna goes about her work with an admirable delicacy and there seems to be something so nostalgic and pure in the air of every shot. The photographs you're about to see are all film which only serves to reemphasize my point that digital sucks out the beautiful mood that only analogue can provide. I hope you guys get as much out of this collection as I did.

Incredible Nature Photos from Inebriantia

I can never get tired of seeing good photographies. Specially photographs so carefully taken as the ones from José Ramos, or Inebriantia at deviantART. He uses the light in a certain way that he achieves perfection on his landscapes, being almost impossible not to love his work. Each photo has a specific atmosphere and lightening, making each photo unique.

José never stops trying new stuff and with 26 years old, he is already selling photos in several sites and also featured some images in magazines. He works as a freelancer and also participates of exhibitions. I hope you enjoy the images!

Yesterday I was browsing Deviantart for some inspiration, when I spotted a photo of Nariscuss. It was the most colorful picture on the screen, it was really eye-catching.
