Last night I was watching TV and decided to create an image for a Christmas tutorial. I was willing to work a little bit more with Cinema 4D, and as I have seen some Christmas designs with candy canes, I decided to try and design my own candy cane typeface. I also used Photoshop to create the background and the whole composition.
For this wallpaper of the week we have the design from the Super Cool Abstract Vectors in Illustrator and Photoshop tutorial. We chose the dark version because, as you might have noticed, we sort of love dark wallpapers. The book suggestion of this week is about typography and it is an essential book for those starting out their design career or interested in learning the elements of this trade. The Elements of Typographic Style is the perfect book to start 2012 improving your design skills :)
