Last Saturday I went to the movies to watch Wall Street Money Never Sleeps. It was a nice movie, even though I was expecting something much better in terms of story and special effects, there were some cheesy ones, however in the end during the credits the design they created a really nice animation with money illustration, I don't know the name of the effect in english, but I loved it, so I came back and decided to try to do that in Photoshop.
The wallpaper of this week is an image I created for a poster and also a tutorials for the upcoming Abduzeedo book. The book will be available soon and we will keep you posted, so stay tuned.
The idea behind this image was create a vintage style poster playing with the word ADBZ. It was sort of inspired by Mondrian from my earlier sketches.

The book suggestion of the week is one of my favorites, it's called Typology: Type Design From Victorian Era to the Digital Age and it covers a lot of art history always linking with types and typography. It's a must read for those starting out their careers or even willing to dust off their typology and typography skills.
