A few days ago I've made a post about the Emigre magazine, one of the most important publications for the design community. Along with that magazine, another great publication was the Ray Gun magazine founded by David Carson. So, inspired by that, I've decided to create an art work using some of the photos I took this last summer. In that way, I would have a nice design to remember the summer of 2009.
The wallpaper of this week is an image created in collaboration between Perttu Murto who did the art direction, illustration and concept with Sami Kuronen who did the 3D modelign. the image is called Nine and it's perfect for a wallpaper.

The book of this week is not a design book per se but it's an incredible book. I have just finished it and I got so much valuable information that can be applied in my day to day job as designer. The book is called Why We Buy: The Science of Shopping--Updated and Revised for the Internet, the Global Consumer, and Beyond by Paco Underhill.
