Today I'm going to show you how to make a nice looking wallpaper in Photoshop. It includes how to make very nice looking leaves, waterdrops and subtle background effects. Enjoy!
Step 1: The Beginning
First open a new document of your screen size, I used my own resolution, which is 1440x900 pixels.
When you've did that, choose 2 nice blue colours, the I used #0090ff as foreground and #003ebd as background colour.
The wallpaper of this week is a really beautiful photo of a bear with a bokeh effect from Javelines, a digital artist from Russia. I hope you like it. And if you want to feature your wallpaper just send it to us via email to abduzeedo@abduzeedo.com or via twitter at http://twitter.com/abduzeedo.

The book of this week is not a design book per se but it's an incredible book. I have just finished it and I got so much valuable information that can be applied in my day to day job as designer. The book is called Why We Buy: The Science of Shopping--Updated and Revised for the Internet, the Global Consumer, and Beyond by Paco Underhill.
