Last week I decided to come up with a new variation of the Abduzeedo symbol, as I have been doing this every year pretty much since the beginning of the blog. So for this year my ideas was to create something more minimalistic with a sort of vintage style. I also wanted to reduce the light effects, make them very subtle.
So in this tutorial/case study I will show you how I created the Abduzeedo 2011 symbol.
The wallpaper of this week is an image from Saad Moosajee and it is an illustration that is a part of his new series, nature in technicolor. We also are offering wallpapers for the new iPad with Retina Display.

The book suggestion of this week is Illusive 2: Contemporary Illustration and Its Context. This book is really inspiring, there were some amazing illustrations and you can spend ours checking them out. Another amazing thing about this book is that you can always go back and there will always be something new.
