Last week I posted an article showing some great logos using 3D effects and colorful gradients. There are quite a few ways to do create those effects in Illustrator, however for most of them you will have to use the Pathfinder tools. Because of that I will show you an example based on a few logos from that list.

We chose the dark version because, as you might have noticed, we sort of love dark wallpapers. The book suggestion of this week is the next one in my list and I will start reading it this weekend. It's called Cradle to Cradle: Remaking the Way We Make Things. I have been waiting to read this book for a while. I got it a few weeks ago as a present and now it's the right time. Below I will list some info about the book.
