A few weeks ago I posted a tutorial showing how I created the new Abduzeedo's 2010 symbol, which will be used for icons, posters, t-shirts and other gears. That tutorial was about the Illustrator walk-through process and in the end there was the light effect version of the symbol that I created in Photoshop.
The wallpaper of this week was created by Brett Whatmough, a young and very talented graphic designer from the UK. Brett has a nice porfolio with some cool commercial works and also a set of impressive personal pieces where he shows his skills mixing light effects with photos and 3D elements.
I'm a 23 year old graphic designer from Guildford in Surrey. I have been involved in the graphic design industry for just over two years, and in that time I have produced various pieces of commercial and personal work.
The book suggestion of the week is about Jeff Bezos and the history of Amazon.com. One Click: Jeff Bezos and the Rise of Amazon.com is a really good book, very inspiring and motivating especially about believing on what you are doing and focus on the long term when doing things.
