Video of the Week #11

May 28, 2008 from PauloGabriel's blog

Fact: dudes love cars. If you're a guy, and you haven't drolled at least once in life for a car, any car, you gotta check your own sanity (haha).

Honda hit the jackpot hiring this advertising company (does anyone know its name?). It has been doing some superb commercials, like the one where parts from a Honda are used like a acme mechanism. Now, they came up with another great commercial, which reminds us why we all love cars... the magic of driving one! ;)

Last week we've linked the Tinysong site in our Sites of the Week. Beyond being a great app, it has an really well executed design, and I thought it would be a good idea to reproduce the same design and make a fireworks tutorial out of it. For this tutorial we're not gonna apply any great effect or use a unknown tool, but only show you a simple way of making neat effects that will make the difference in a layout.
