Web 2.0 ... The Machine is Us/ing Us

This is a really good video showing how the web 2.0 is changing communications and the ways we use the web

The video was created by Michael Wesch and he describes it as "Web 2.0 in just under 5 minutes".

I really think that Michael touched on a few things that will be important as our society moves through Web 2.0 (which most large companies consider a marketing term) to the semantic web, which is a paradigm shift that we are beginning to see. The big three is governance, privacy, and most importantly, ethics. Who decides what is appropriate; what is appropriate; and how can we protect ourselves and yet benefit from our own creations??

Very cool vid.
