GLASSWARP - Photography Experiments

Eugene Tumusiime is a London-based photographer, and during round 3 of lockdown, Eugene produced a self-initiated project called GLASSWARP. With a Samsung Galaxy S9, Eugene shot Christmas lights as they were bent, split and warped into different psychedelic patterns by different drinking glasses and a stapler.

We are sharing the work of Omar Aqil who is an illustrator & art director based in Lahore, Pakistan. We are truly fans of Omar's work, from the diverse set of colors, textures, shapes, and lighting. With this new series titled: 'Self-Portraits 2050', we follow Omar through this experimental journey and I totally dig them.

Anil Rinat shared an awesome illustration project for a newspaper cover. The work was commissioned for an exhibition curated by @zoharariso, Jerusalem design week. I personally love the geometric aspect of the illustration in a clean vector style.

Face on the Wall — Surreal Sculputres in 3D

KOD3D STUDIOS shared a 3D project titled “Face on the Wall”. It was inspired by the surreal sculpture of a face melted to the wall. The set of images were created using Cinema 4D, rendered with Redshift 3D with post-production in Photoshop.


Nike Air Max 1 — 3D & Motion Experiments

Pranav R Raj shared a 3D and motion design project using After Effects, Cinema 4D, Houdini and Redshift. The Non-commercial personal project done for animation and lighting practice using Nike Air Max 1 as a source of inspiration. The result is quite awesome.
