Part of the Daily Design Inspiration series that started it all on Abduzeedo. This is where you'll find the most interesting things/finds/work curated by one of us to simply inspire your day.
A few weeks ago Adobe announced the ADOBE HIDDEN TREASURES BAUHAUS DESSAU to promote the release of some of the Bauhaus fonts redesigned for the modern technologies and screens. With that announcement, there was an open challenge to all designers and enthusiasts to create a piece of graphic design using the fonts.
BEELD Motion invited Danilo Gusmão Silveira to help them create a new visual Identity for SPORTV, one of the most prominent Sports Channels in South America. They experimented with several different graphic styles and forms to find a new image for the channel.
I am a fan of photography and would go even further and consider myself an enthusiast. One of my favorite subjects is architecture, but with the goal of finding abstract forms through the rigid structures of buildings and constructions.
Shoeciety is an app design concept project created and shared by Juan C. Fresno. As you might already know, I am a fan of personal projects. The fact that you take some time from your busy schedule is always something to be celebrated.
Hypebeast 20 — The X Issue is an editorial design project created by Hybrid Design studio. The designers behind this beautiful project were Carl-Hampus Vallin, Patchara Charoensiri, Frédérique Gravier, Olivia Ward, Dave Weber.
I have started working on the new version of ABDZ, at least I have that goal and I am already creating mood boards for visual references. Web design is at a very mature state, at least from the static mockup design point of view. The line between print and digital in terms of editorial design is getting completely blurred. I selected some mockups I found o Dribbble to illustrate my point.

Hope everyone has enjoyed a beautiful Weekend, I guess as part of our routine we would surf on Netflix just to cool off the week by watching a movie or by simply just surfing until you have no more ideas what to watch anymore. Hah!
What do you think we should post more articles about AR/VR on ABDZ? We don't do it too often, maybe we should. A good example is what we are featuring with some AR/VR design for the Musée de la Civilisation located in Montreal, QC (Canada).
Socio Design shared a beautiful brand identity project on their Behance profile. The client was KNNOX lighters, and the goal was to celebrate the simple and modern aesthetic as well as the precision handcraft of KNNOX lighters which feature contributions from fifteen different hand-selected English manufacturers.
So...Instagram launched its latest feature called: IGTV. What is it? It's a new update where you will be able to watch long-form and also vertical videos from your favourite creators. What's interesting is that Instagram is pushing creators to actually use it, it's almost the same feel we all had when we were first introduced to Vine.
It's that time of the week for our collection of UI/UX interactions to boost your UI inspiration. We are focusing on cool animations, layout designs, UX thinking and more. We are mixing it all from static, dynamic and even live prototypes, this might be a great weekly series to bookmark! This week, we decided to go all over the place with web designs, app designs and some interactions.
The 36 Days of Type is probably my favorite design challenge and there are a few reasons for that. The most important for me is that it requires the participants to come up with not one, but up to 36 variations of their idea and probably the most difficult part, it has to do with typography. It's definitely not an easy task but the designs people share are just amazing.
Our good friend Gordon Reid and in collaboration with designer Callum Stephenson have set up a fun World Cup project. For this project they have commissioned 20 artists and designers from Yarza Twins, Velvet Spectrum, Brand Nu, Hey Studio, Craig Oldhamm, and to name a few. Why?
For the past few weeks, I have been collecting visual references in branding as well as editorial design and sketching some ideas for a significant redesign for the Abduzeedo brand and site. I have been refining some of the concepts, at least, in my head they are crystal clear. For the brand, I want to make it friendlier and more abstract.
Today our friends over at Adobe announced significant updates across its industry-leading creativity and productivity tools.
Matt Wojtaś shared a set of beautifully design website home pages and shared on his Behance profile. I believe most of the work was done as a concept and personal exercise, however, there's a lot to love about them, especially the editorial design look precisely translated to web design.

I've been following the work of Mark van Leeuwen for years, especially on his Instagram. His stylish works in lettering and type clearly made a difference in our day-to-day with typography.
Something we rarely do feature here on ABDZ are photographers with street portraits series. We are usually all about architecture but I do agree that is really nice to witness life around the World through the medium of photography.
Let's start off the week with a beautiful tribute to the Grand Budapest Hotel directed by the mighty Wes Anderson.
Sebastian Onufszak, LAFKON Publishing, Jürgen Branz and Stephan Bovenschen shared a lot more information on the process behind the beautif
It's booked! We will be heading down to Singapore for our yearly vacation, nothing cooler than exploring designers, artists, and photographers based in this beautiful country. Let's take a look at the work of Foreign Policy and their Brand Identity for The Clifford Pier.

Did you get a chance to watch the first look at Ryan Gosling as Neil Armstrong and the years 1961-1969 in the movie: "First Man". I thought this would be the perfect introduction for our feature of an Exhibition Poster Series for Centrepoint Spacesuit Collection 18.
