30 Amazing Retro Posters and Flyers

This week I ran into some cool retro designs for posters, fliers and brochures. I thought I would share them for my next Retrography Post. I love the style and feel of this ‘old paper look’ they all kind of have. I keep seeing the coolest gig posters and club flyers with this style. There’s some awesome typography, some propaganda influences and some really cool colors! Enjoy!
Retro style design has always been around. Yet it seems that in the last few years it really has jumped off quite a bit. There are tons off awesome typographics coming out now as well as really cool gig posters and fliers like in this post. Very Nice Collection of Retro work, its funny but I used to think that Scott Hansen was the king of retro work, and that anyone who tried it was copying his style.
I looked at some old design work from the time 60's and 70's and they are very similar to what Scott and the others are producing so I guess we all get inspiration and no one can claim this retro style for there own.

there's something about the choice of colors on those retro posters that make them all kinda look alike. Nevertheless a timeless collection!

Hey, love your blog and its design and your choices, and your English is GREAT! Teeny complaint: Extremely dark gray type on a black field is so very artsy and cool, but hard to read and easy to overlook entirely. (I'm talking about, say, the line under the email field right here on this form, that says "The content of this field is private..." It's so private that I didn't see it when I read the form, only when I filled it.)

Eighth one down is my favorite. Lovely set, but if you could find more in the line of the 8th (which is REALLY retro), that would be excellent.
