350+ Great CSS Tools and Techniques
April 08, 2009
One of the most enjoyable moments for a web designer is coding CSS. It's such a nice language that it actually gets fun to work with it... style your pages and actually watching your designs gain life and forms. But sometimes, a little help is welcome.
Even being a fun thing to do, sometimes you run into some problems, trying to find the right way to get a certain look. But for our sake, there are many many great sites out there that help us during these times, such as the great CSS Play, Smashing Magazine, and others.
Taking a quick ride thru my Delicious, I took a look at some of my CSS tag favorites, and I'd like to share them with you. These are really resourceful articles, worth the visit. From tools to simple techniques that will help you at some point. Hope you all enjoy these!! Cheers. ;)

WOW these seem really helpful, thanx :D
Holy Crap! I've seen some of these resources whilst perusing the net, but this is a great compilation of all those terrific tidbits of CSS magic.
Thanks for these!
P.S.- I didn't even know it was possible to make a CSS-based icon dock! I'm definitely going to have to play with that...
Great, great, post.

I appreciate your time in bringing together this list. I just wish there were actually 350+ listed techniques as opposed to 15 or so links to 30 or some snippets.
It is good though, thanks :)
Dear Paulo,
Everyday when I open my reader and look at the number of posts from abduzeedo, I am like do these guys ever sleep :D !
The daily inspiration is at times what they call is sweep you of your feet!
All i want to request is, now after a bit of web designing is coming into the post, why not have a bit into resources for web designers. Actually I should say newbies or enthusiasts, like myself, cause we still got loads to learn from a lot of e-gurus like you who are sitting out there ;) !
I am about two websites old, one is my personal pages and the other is my departments pages on the university intranet, both developed upon creative commons material available on the web. I am looking forward to redoing my universities website. Some guidance towards good quality template resources and inspiration would be really helpful.
Thanking you and the everyone at abduzeedo!
Regards,
sunshine
A tool not yet in the list, but surely interesting for those people who still need to support ie6 (which should be a lot)

Otherwise awesome selection!
crap. that's too many tips. seriously. guess its time to read this giant tome of helpful tips!
I wish people would stop posting lists of lists type posts.
CSS is a simple technology which can only do so much.
Most people seem to want to represent it as something that can be much more than it is, and usually degrade semantics and standards compliance in the process.
ótimo artigo.

A massive list of CSS related design code all under one domain. Brilliant.
I somewhat agree Jason, but in general I'm glad to have this particular list of lists! I think CSS also CAN be more than people think it is... with almost any of the web languages there has been innovation beyond the original intention.
The latest popular batch of Javascript libraries is an example of that. CSS "frameworks" (a whole other debate) which led to fluid CSS frameworks may not be doing anything remarkable, but in some cases there are "I guess I should have thought of that!" moments. Brilliance isn't in making things complex, it's in taking the simple and doing something creative with it.
Man I love you! You are brilliant. You`ve saved me a lot of time.
tnx
thanks for the post, I'm new to CSS and this one is really helpful to me <3 , thanks a lot
