Long Exposure pictures can get pretty awesome if you have the right ideas. One of the coolest ideas is to make sweet light graffiti with this camera option. During all summer I've played with it, and made some nice pictures (some other day I'll post it), but not as nice as some of these pictures right here! 98% of it was found on Flickr! Hope you like it.
Science Fiction movies are really awesome, even though, many people don't enjoy that kind of movie. But, one thing those people couldn't deny is the fact that Sci-Fi movie posters are pretty awesome, different from most of the regular movies...
One of the articles that I've enjoyed the most was the 'Put Things Off', talking about productivity using plain paper as a daily to-do list. We also had an article from both Abduzeedo and Deduzeendo that was linked on the best of March article at Smashing Magazine. But this week's inspirations are great as well. Take all a look on what we have set apart for you guys:
There has been a lot of buzz recently about HDR photography, but many people assume that it's only limited to professional photographers. The reality is that just about anyone can take and process an HDR photo with most cameras and proper HDR software. There are plenty of explanations of what HDR is and how it works, so we won't cover that here.
Art Deco is one of the greatest design movements of all time. It has been a refference of style for a long time, but most people don't realize that Art Deco can be found in most places. From Brazil do the Czech Republic, from Architecture to movies, it's found in places that you probably don't even imagine.

A few days ago we published an excellent video from a French band called Justice, the name of the clip was DVNO and the coolest thing was that it was full of references from the 80’s. Besides that, there was the great interview with James White, and again, his work is full of elements from the 80’s.
When you were a little kid, you would probably try to make shadow puppets on the wall... I guess everyone did that at least once. But this guy takes it to a whole other level. He's a true shadow master.I don't usually post the Video of the Week right in the beggining of the week, but man, this video is so cool I had to do it right away!
If you're a traveler, read this article from Zen Habits about what to bring on your baggage. This week we had the release of Safari 3.1 and we got to know that Flickr will soon be uploading videos! Besides that, we had 2 articles making frontpage on Digg, bringing us almost 90.000 visits in a single day. Thanks every one that is helping us to reach numbers like that.

Who doesn't love Pin-ups? These pretty ladies have been out there for over 50, 60 years, and still look fresh and awesome. And they are great source of inspiration! When we start thinking about a new design, one of the first things we start researching is cool colors that we might use. But how about researching Super Heroes color schemes? Yes! We love comics. From DC to Marvel, and other indie studios as well. This time, I bring to you guys only the highest shots from the biggest studios. Time to get inspired!! Hope you like it.
Textures are always useful and necessary to give to your design a more natural feeling, not so digital. We can use them in many ways, but the most common is for backgrounds, however in my case I was looking for good textures for some Photoshop Displace Filter experiments. In this post I will list some nice wooden textures I came across on flickr and other sites.
We love the 80's. Music, tv shows, movies, clothing, everything gets us all nostalgic. But we can revive the 80's everyday by using it as reference. The 80's were a decade of overflows of colors and style. Citric colors, big glasses and those long Nike shoes.
We don't get to see much of how to make cool fonts from scratch but at Sam Alfano's there's a whole section about it! Pretty cool site, pretty cool tips, like this one. Most of us love vintage stuff. From pictures to movie posters and colors. But how about a cool vintage leaf font? Sure!

Yeah, that's more common than you might imagine. Photoshop Disasters is a blog dedicated to... photoshop disasters.
There are iStockphoto, Getty Image, Corbis, Fotolia, etc... Great pictures, but you have to pay to use them, even if it's only to practise Photoshop. You also have Google images, but the pictures are not always aesthetic, and above all most of them have a copyright. Today we'll present to you two very good free stock photo sites.
