The Amazing Natural Works of the Curb

January 15, 2010 from PauloGabriel's blog

It was a real treat to see the work of the Curb, the world's first natural media company. For Natural Media, it means that they solely use natural earth elements, such as sand, snow, water, grass, etc, all for the sake of our media needs. And they rock doing it.

"We have created a portfolio of unique eco-advertising services and a crack green team of creative experts, to provide clients with outstanding natural marketing which impacts on their target consumer without impacting on the environment."

Check out their site for more of their great work: Mind the Curb.

I will make use of some of the Quartz Composer filters in order to show the many different exciting effects that can be achieved with them. Step 1 Open Pixelmator and create a new document. Let’s go ahead and use a size of 1920×1200 pixels. Next, fill the background layer with black.

Book Suggestion - Poke the Box
The book of this week is Poke the Box. Written by Seth Godin, Poke the Box is very inspiring and motivating about initiating and shipping. It makes you think about so many things and makes you want to make things happen. If you're stuck at the starting line, you don't need more time or permission. You don’t need to wait for a boss’s okay or to be told to push the button; you just need to poke.
