Card Contest Voting - The Bullet Giveaway Result
Hey, guys!! It's been an awesome experience to have you guys sending so many card designs for our contest! It's pretty great to have many of you participating like that. Today, besides start voting, we're gonna announce the winner of the great The Bullet Tutorial!
Since the post is really long, I won't taking long about the winner of the sweet "The Bullet" Tutorial. It totally kicks butt. And the winner is:

No anonymous vote will be count, nor non-member votes, since it was a member-only contest. You guys cannot vote in your own design, you only must cheer about your own pieces, ok? You guys may choose 2 designs (leave a comment with the numbers you'll choose), and from the results, we'll name the winners. Cheers!! ;)

What's incredibly sad is that I had emailed and fabio stated that the voting would begin anew on Friday. That certainly didn't happen.
And winning, forget it, I also couldn't care less but am not one to stand by when something is skewed.
Grow up "Anonymous". Show your face/name and say something if you have something to say, but don't expect others to just slip into anonymity when something is clearly wrong.

Hey Mr. Anonymous and anyone else who is still reading this thread...
Look, at this point I'm clearly not going to win the contest, so that is no longer my motive. Furthermore, I am quite pleased that Abduzeedo is giving back to the community, and as a long time frequenter of this blog, I am not insinuating that there was something sinister behind this.
All I'm saying is if you are going to run a contest, and you create the rules up front and someone who adheres to those rules throughout is inexplicably not included (or for that matter, disadvantaged by a later inclusion when voting has already begun), I feel the need to stand up and say something. That's all.
I'll continue to frequent this site because it has been a source of inspiration for me and I've learned a lot through the myriad tutorials. However my experience in this contest has shown me that the organizers are much better at designing, finding great design, and communicating design principles and techniques than they are at running a design contest...
And by the way Mr. Anonymous, it was unnecessary for you to criticize my design in a non-productive way. It is outside of the mission of this community, where I assumed people come to share ideas and constructive criticism.

Faber to begin with your card had no chance at winning. Second stop whining over the fact that their trying to give back the community, and do something nice by having a contest giving out free stuff.. stop crying and get over it, im sure they had some sort of mishap.
This is just getting absurd.
Again, more cards added, well into the contest, when the voting has been going on for five days, with 3 days remaining. Not to mention that the post is all the way at the bottom of the front abduzeedo page to begin with and hasn't seen a new comment in a day.

This is the most poorly run contest I've ever been a part of.
I think Faber design has true. The voting should start again with all designs. Many cards were added 2days after start of voting and that means less chances for win...
definitely 43 or 47, i just can't make up my mind!!
This contest is completely bunk.
According to the rules, the contest ended on September 13. On September 12, this thread was posted allowing people to start voting. There were 43 or so entries.
On the last day of the contest, September 13, I added my design to the flikr pool, tagged appropriately. I also emailed and posted about it in these comments.

Later, another 10 or so designs were added here, bringing the total here for voting to 52. There are 58 designs on that flickr photostream tagged with uprinting-contest.
I think this is bogus and I think you should start a new post, including all of the designs that were appropriately uploaded in time (including my own, and stellarjae's, and a couple of others I've noticed) and begin the voting again. Otherwise this is a completely flawed contest.

I don't know what to say... but this is an ill-conceived idea if details are not worked out for upcoming contests.
My designs are also still not posted along with others I see. Might I say the whole system seemed a little backwards when there are images for voting before the contest even ends.
I am disappointed. There I said it.

I think this should be restarted again aswell, and cards mixed up and renumbered. Isn't really fair that so many entered and are being added so late.

So only certain cards were chosen to be voted on? I figured they would all be.
#12 is based on a tutorial. I think tutorials are ways to teach you stuff you can use later on your projects or a fun way to learn new techniques. Don't think is cool to use the result as it is in a personal project.
Anyway, there are some great stuff up here! Loved #20 and the typography concept on #21!
