First International Trailer for Max Payne
It's been some time since I got this hyped in a morning. During my regular visits to First Showing (a must visit for all movie freaks), I ran into something I wasn't expecting: the 1st friggin' international trailer for the Max Payne movie.
And I know the preview picture isn't from the movie, but from the game, but it's totally cool. I don't know if you guys realize who big this is. For those who were out to Venus for the past 8 years, Max Payne is a video game character, from a game called, uhn, Max Payne. It was out in 2001, and was absolutily STUNNING... It had the bullet time from Matrix, and still 2 years later, when the Enter the Matrix game was released, it wasn't as good as the original Max Payne. Max Payne is everything we expected ETM to be, and wasn't. And now, I also got to know that they are about to release friggin' Max Payne 3 for PC. Geeeez!!! Alright, I'm REALLY hyped. LOL. About the movie, Mark Wahlberg is playing our hero, and the trailer looks awesome. Well, check out the trailer already...
Another thing I didn't know is that there were some other Max Payne movies release in Poland! I so wanna see those... unfortunately, there aren't any torrent files online... or at least I didn't find any. You can see below these other movies posters. Again, these are not the new movie posters.
If you're not familiar with the Max Payne feel, I must say it reminds a lot Sin City comics... something noir, and still got all that bullet time kicking ass sweetness, pretty much as a Matrix movie. I must insist, if you've never played any of Max Payne's games before, YOU MUST PLAY THEM. It's totally awesome. :]

Didn't know there was a Max Payne movie coming; the trailer looks promising! I recognized some scenes from the game! :)
Nice find!! :oo....looks very promising indeed....good production value..great actor and even though I did not play the game (I played the demo) It was an amazing game and I see they adopted some of his moves for the movie. thanks :o)

Oww man that looks awesome! I so enjoyed the first game. Too bad I couldn't play it on max settings, seeing as I had a lousy computer, but still. Looks promising.
I think Mark Wahlberg is just perfect for the role. David Boreanaz would've been good too though.

Damn, i heard there was the movie coming out. I was waiting for the trailer. It would've been really cool if they took the story from the first MP Game. I agree Mark Wallberg isnt the best choise, but at least his voice sounds good. Im hope they dont pick an aweful voice in the german version.

I was wondering when they'd turn Max Payne into a movie. I wouldn't have expected to see Mark Wahlberg in the role, but it's a better fit than I would have imagined it. David Borneaz certainly looks the role, but has nowhere near the caliber.
The only thing that does concern me is timing... considering how long it's been since the last Max Payne game (and add to that the fact that, in my opinion, it wasn't too great), will it attract a big enough audience? I'm sure I'll check it out either way.
Max Payne its a great game, just playing to know how it is spetacular.

Max Payne was one of my favorite games ever. From the bullet time mode to the story, graphics, and comic book style interludes, the game was perfect
That will be a great movie for sure, i was very addicted to the Max Payne game some years ago!
Max Payne is an awesome game, I'm just not sure whether Mark Wahlberg plays Max that well, but time will tell :)

Max Payne was a very underestimated game...I played it for WEEKS...kept replaying it over and over!!! Cant wait for this movie...very glad you found this...I'm really excited now!
Max payne movie will be an awesome movie. The actor doesnt looks like AS max payne, but his voice is the same. About the poland film, yes...they were doing a movie, but it seeems that Fox "scared " them, so they cancelled it. If you want more info, check the site: WWW.payneandredemption.com

Also, if you like the splinter cell games, ther will be a movie about this game; you can verify it if you have the splinter cell chaos theory's game. When you beat the game, you unlock a video, its about the movie; and if you search about this on internet, you are going to believe me....I mean it.
Oh, yes, i forgot this......a prince of persia movie will be also available, i dont know when but as splinter cell, they are adapting the scrypt . Check alll this on internet.
