So I decided to create an abstract composition with light effects and apply that as a texture of a text, everything done only using Photoshop. So in this tutorial I will show you how to create an easy and super quick text effect in Photoshop. We will play with Brushes, Blend Modes, basic filters like Blur and Liquify, and also text.

The Abduzeetles Rockband Website in Fireworks

What's up guys, this tutorial is a kind of special for me, since I saw for the first time this site I was amazed with the colors, the shapes and the real life that it appears to be. I'm talking about The Beatles Rockband's website, it's simply wonderful. And thinking on it I decided to redesign it in Fireworks, but now our own site, that we'll call the Abduzeetles Rockband!

Reader Tutorial: Easy HDR Technique by Cristian Iancu

Big shout out to Trey Ratcliff for clearing things up for me with HDR’s--he has a great tutorial and I will always be a fan of his amazing work--to Nicalai, for taking this wonderful picture and, last but not least, to Abduzeedo for making this public. We start from this original picture, that my good friend Nicalai took on a night in Milano. First, we want to add some cool night tint to this. So, we lower the Temperature a bit, let’s say -32 and play with the other sliders as you see fit.

On the menu, select File>Stylize>Noise. Select 1 as the amount.

Amazing Obama 3D

Amazing Obama 3D

This is a personal project that I've been planning for quite some time, and will be part of my demo-reel. Being aware of the amount of work ahead of me, the hours spent, and considering this will last for only a few seconds on the video, I decided to go ahead and model with all there is to it, starting on concepts, then on a simple but functional Basemesh, refining it on ZBrush, Multipass rendering and post-production in Photoshop.
