Video Inspiration: Motion Experiments
September 19, 2008
I've found a great video done with just skilled motion graphics, and some really nice audio. I always find it Quite impressive how amazing just 2 senses can immerse a person in to a piece of work, even if this is only a few short clips. I've watched it several times over just to try and figure out what techniques were used. You can check out the site http://www.klippoglim.no/

AWESMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!
Wht software did u screw for this ? :D
I think he uses plugins from trapcode particular 1.5 for after effects...
Awesome. Some of the effects look they were created in Adobe After Effects but I could be wrong. I would be interested to know what type of programs and techniques were used to create this awesome piece.
a majority of work that is usually done similar to this uses Adobe After Effects, Trapcode Plugins(maybe), and lastly a 3D program(Cinema 4D, 3D Studio Max, or Maya).
awesome!
WWWWOOOOOOWWWWWW!
i want to learn how to create that kind of stuff
Thanks man!! Really great video!! Please keep posting stuff like this. You rule!!
Dudes, no word for this one... awesome stuff
Impressive! I would love to know how to recreate this effects
yeah really creepy but good, really good
Amazing! The sound just sets the feeling and emotion for each experiment! Really well done. I need to start playing with After Effects more!
wow.. the picture experiment no2 : landscape caught my eye..~
Really awesome stuff. Tried to make out some of the stuffs used, mentioned below:
1) After Effects
2) Trapcode Plugins(Form, particular, and maybe echospace)
3) The smoke(ill look back......) seems to be from one of the Videocopilot Packs(RIOT GEAR, i guess)
4) Videocopilot Twitch for those twitchy, jittery, shaky, noisy effects
Most people have picked up on the software being used here, just wanted to add that it's very likely the "jumpy" effects were created using Video Copilots Twitch plugin (the RGB separation in blur/slide direction, is a give away).
Anyway, some really nice looking effects coupled with some rather novice looking "experiments" as well. Some of those just overly smacked of Video Copilot tutorials or minor modifications of plugin presets.
Still nice for the most part though.
Overall though the effect was used well enough to make for transition rather than a focus of the reel, not only that but the focus of the piece and why I posted it was to show how important audio can be when creating a motion piece. The scratch, tech, and distorted audio makes an amazing partner to the motion graphics in the reel.
This is an interesting post. Thanks,

Not that I’m impressed a lot, but this is a lot more than I expected when I found a link on Delicious telling that the info is awesome. Thanks.
