Web Design: Dark Layouts

July 27, 2010 from PauloGabriel's blog

I do love everything creative... illustrations, graphic design, architecture and all that, but I'm finding myself deeply in love with web as time passes. Dark layouts are a real treat for me... usually, they're awesome.

Dark layouts tend to be full of style and really classy. It's cool because you may use neon colors with it, and make just the right thing glow in that layout. For me, the possibilities are numerous, but I wonder how do you like it. Tell us! Here I've selected some great examples of dark layouts I've seen lately. I hope you enjoy these. Cheers. ;)

Design Process: Starting a Design Project
Starting a Design Project
We have been posting tutorials pretty much every week for the past 6 years. We believe tutorials are an amazing way to learn how to use the software we need to do our design work. But as you can see, software is just a part of the design process, important but without a good foundation and design principles you won’t be able to translate a good idea into a cohesive design...even if you are a master of Illustrator, Photoshop or any other software.
