1. High Quality Portrait Retouching pt1

January 12, 2009 from Youssef Sarhan's blog

This is the first tutorial in a series on photographic retouching. In this tutorial I'll try to demonstrate the level of editing that goes into removing any discrepancies in the skin.

I have divided the whole process into parts. Beginning with skin tones and blemishes.

- Colour Correction

Reader Photoshop Tutorial: Sisters by Marcos Torres
Celebrating Halloween, Marcos Torres will show us how to create a sort of creepy composition playing with some textures, photos and blend modes in Photoshop. The name of this piece is called Sisters and it's perfect for this halloween time. Step 1 First off, open Photoshop and create a new document. This new document should have 1680 x 1050 pixels. Now, I used an image of a wood texture, you can download it here. Open the photo and paste it on the 1680 x 1050 canvas.
