10 of the Greatest TV Title Sequences

April 07, 2010 from guest's blog

An area often overlooked by casual viewers is the title sequences for TV shows and movies. They first came around in the 1950's when Saul Bass created the title sequence for 'The Man with the Golden Arm'. Ever since then, the title sequence has been used to show off graphic design and illustration. I thought I would put together a list of my favourite TV show title sequences. Feel free to link your favourites in the comments.

So in this tutorial we will show you how to create complex shapes in Pixelmator and add round corners to it. After that we will show you how to make it look like an old badge using textures and some basic filters and blending.

If he's not found scribbling design schemes, you may find him pestering the world with his amateur photography or slamming piano keys furiously.
