115+ Absolutely Awesome Time-Lapse Videos - Part 2

March 30, 2009 from PauloGabriel's blog

Last week we began a brief series of posts on Time-Lapse videos that our reader Sanid Jusic sent us. Since he sent us over 115 videos, we had to make it a 4 posts series, and this is #2. Check these out.

Time-lapse photography is a cinematography technique whereby each film frame is captured at a rate much slower than it will be played back. When replayed at normal speed, time appears to be moving faster and thus lapsing. Time-lapse photography can be considered to be the opposite of high speed photography.

Of course that after reading a little bit about it we get to know that time-lapse is mainly photography, and these videos are somewhat a technique within time-lapse itself. These guys had this scenes recorded and made it fast forward, but still pretty awesome. Again, check these out, and thanks to Sanid once more! Cheers. :)
