20 Beautiful HDR Pictures - Part 2

May 13, 2008

We all love an eye candy... and when it comes to HDR, it works pretty well to me! Just get your tripod, your camera and search for that one scene that will look incredible once shot.

And it's just incredible how some people make fantastic photography out there... so here are the pics of this amazing dude, Donald Fregede... don't forget to visit his photostream at Flickr!

Wow these are really amazing. I came across a set of 100 HDR wallpapers here and there are more HDR pics on the website too. Though it might be useful to share with fellow Abduzeedo readers.

Keep up the good work!

Great find here, thanks for your on-going hdr fascination/research.

From what i've learned, 3 bracketed exposures are what are needed to accomplish a great HDR foto, either through application, 3rd party, plugin, or photoshop, or by hand manipulation.

With that said, the artist above must have had a very fast lens to get that shot of the plane.

all in all, great works of art, very ethereal.

Does anyone know of a tutorial to make a normal photograph into a HDR photo?

Great HDR pics! @Michael Langham: not necessarily, you can shoot one RAW and then from that one create a pseudo HDR image (Photomatix Pro will do it automatically). It does not produce the same dynamic range than a 5 exposure (or even three for that matter) but it does produce some beautiful images and you don't have to worry about moving objects or not having a tripod to shoot from.
