2007 Graphic Design Inspiration
This last december was a bit odd, I was robbed, they took my laptop and 2 iPods, I had all my backups and all my clients jobs in those, for sure one of the most delicate situations in my life, I didn’t know what to do. So I decided to start a blog and save some of the jobs I done and share them with everyone. This would allow me to promote myself too.
In these last 12 months I’ve seen lots of really good designs, they have inspired me and helped me to get over this unfortunate incident. The outcome of that made me think and focus so to celebrate this past year and to welcome the next I decided to post ( in my opinion) 2007 ´s best designs. Enjoy!

They are really brilliant and inspiring images. each and every digital image is representing its own work history this post is full of arty essence which i am loving spending 10 minutes getting through this post is worth it one of its kind.

Awesome effects, the dodge tool is pretty helpful for this kind of art. I haven't seen black and white effects used though, i recommend it for old times view effect. Congratulation everyone, god job.

There is an inordinate amount of naked women in this list. What is the obsession with naked girls and swirly things? Why is no one questioning this trend? The techniques and creativity displayed are great, but... it bothers me. I see it everywhere and it doesn't seem to be applied to men. Or if it is, they are usually fully clothed. I find it really... disconcerting. Are women just... pretty objects?

Sorry to hear about your gear, but it's all hardware. Hardware fails, where as the human spirit overcomes and you made a conscious choice to make that happen. Kudos. Hardware catches fire, hard drive arms fail, memory sticks burn out, CDs get scratched, OS files get updated, old files become obsolete.

Very nice work my friend. I do graphics for web design and people are always oooohing and aaaaaahing at my work. I always tell them it is nothing compared to most of the print designers I have known. Your work is truly beautiful.
Luckily for you Time Capsule is out, so you don't have to lose your work anymore, but the laptop and ipods still sucks.

This was amazing work! I love how the colors blended, color selections, graphic integration, and just fantastic concepts. I have been very artistic for years, but have never seem to increase my skillz to this level. Anyone know of any online resources I could use to help me? I would like to learn all the rules of design. I am familiar with the color wheel, white space, and compliment colors. Thats as far as I know, but would like to find out how to make colors reflect or how to integrate pictures better. I have been using Paintshop Pro by corel for years. Any tips, tricks, tutorial, or online graphic design resources. Please help, this is my passion. Thanks and once again great work!

I enjoyed looking through these - thanks for posting. However, i m getting a little sick of the standard 'vector swirls/tendrils/splatter bursting out from behind stuff' look. Dont know where to go to look at something fresh!

Hmmm,anyone who's been around digital art circles a while knows all about Hejz,inparticular his stealing of a style pioneered by a guy called 'Silveryn' in 2003 and then trying to pass it off as his own and getting very childish with anyone who dared to steal what he thought of as 'his' style.

Hey these are really great. Thanks for sharing some inspiring works. It's nice to see a variety in there as well, usually these lists contain 10-20 images that all look exactly the same.

Cool as usual! there is an image in particular with the "displace" filter, I imagine you took inspiration for your tutorial but i still don't get it quite right. If you ever have time to make a similar one, I'm sure everyone would like it.
Also, the shoe on fire! Like your tutorial. I noticed some people also use the "dodge tool" to create the highlight effect!
