It's funny how everyone has a different way to express them selves, specially in front of a camera. Expressive portraits are not only beautiful and very inspirational but they speak for them selves and it feels like they are alive, enjoy this great selection!

The Minnie Mouse is my absolute favorite. I'm curious about the fighter punching the water though; it would be easy to assume it was photoshopped but I have a feeling that it wasn't.....great collection!

wow. these are gorgeous in every way : model, light, props, makeup. I am really digging the male photograph into the water.
Some of these photos are nice to watch and some are even created using interesting techniques. But according to me it´s not portraits. A real portrait should capture the subject and show the true person. Most of these photos are just the opposite, created to show a false version of them self just to look interesting.
Do you agree or am I on my own here?
The women in this are just so beautiful. I love how their personality and colouring is brought out in the shots.

They are all (except 2-3) beautiful, young women...show some who aren't beautiful or women or young and then perhaps we can see some creativity. They probably look good in any photo...
nice photos, but not portraits, more like fashion-ish pop-trendy images. A portrait reveals something about the subject or perhaps an interpretation of the subject that the photographer is conveying

These are amazing. Very inspiring...
I recognize 4 or 5 of these from artist on deviantArt that are on my friends list. Credit should be given when it's available.
Also, the ones I do recognize, and probably many others, are not in fact expressive portraits. As someone else mentioned, they are glamour/vanity shots. Someone was paid to do the make up, hair, and outfit, someone was paid to be in the picture and pose and act like someone else, someone was paid to take the picture, and someone was paid to edit it.
This is absolutely gorgeous - every picture is mouthwateringly bright and breathtaking. Does anyone know of some more sites with similar portraits?

and... yeah, as a photographer myself (unfortunately not as good as the ones you posted), i guess you should credit and link the photographers. they would be happy and yadda yadda.
