Hey everybody, I’m really happy to announce the Abduzeedo’s first contest, it's going to be for the icon of our flickr group. Firstly I’d like to thank Pikkus for the idea, Némida for the texts, and the other members that supported the idea: Arnaud Alves, bluebomberc , >FERN, Dy™, fergville..
The most important thing in this contest is to try and play with the tools and the theme, like a motivation.
Theme: Abduction, outer space, aliens abduction, stuff related to abduction. As a signature 'Made in Abduzeedo'.
Tools: Any vectors, bitmaps program, photos... even a paint made with watercolour and photographed then...
Format: Icons statics or animated.
Size: 512x512 px or even less, but the icon has to work really well when we use the 48x48px size.
Time: 3 weeks to submit your work from May 9th to May 30th. After that we will vote ;)
Way of sending: Submit your work to the Abduzeedos’ group on flickr with the tag “abduzeedo icon”. After that leave a comment attaching the icon using the html code that's generated when you view it in "all sizes". You can even tell us the process, which program did you use, etc...

Ways to vote: We’re still thinking about the best way to choose the winner, the idea is that everybody will be able to vote. We have some options but if you have a better idea please let us know. Our ideas are:
- By a second post
- You have to write nick's artist and title's icon
- You can vote up to two icons, never the same artist
- You have to tell us why did you pick that icon
- You can't vote to yourself
Prizes:
- Winner: 1 Flashloaded 3D Wall Component, $175 Credit to use on Markup4U, 1 Favicon Slot on Abduzeedo, for 3 months.
- 2nd: 1 Flashloaded 3D Wall Component, 1 Favicon Slot on Abduzeedo for 2 month
- 3rd: 1 Flashloaded 3D Wall Component, 1 Favicon Slot on Abduzeedo for 1 month
