Abduzeedo PSD theme
I’ve been working on a new design for the blog since last month, and I think by the end of this month it will be totally updated, I hope so. Meanwhile, as I’ve received some emails of people asking me how I did the header of this site, I decided to make the PSD file available to everyone. Just download it and enjoy.
About the new design, we will have new colors, yes the brown will be gone. Besides the colors the site will be more organized, it will have some new features like request a tutorial, and we will try to updated it at least once a day 5 days per week.
We are very excited with the new design. However we want to know what do you think about the blog, what would you like to have in this new version? We are totally open for new ideas and your opinion is very important for us. Please if you have something you think it might be very cool to have on the blog, just leave a comment with your suggestion.

this is really nice to see. however, I was wondering if somebody on this site or psdtuts could write a tutorial on how to convert a web design to life. I've learned a ton of new things from these two blogs about web design, but I don't know how to convert my designs into an actual web page....

I love your blog. I subscribe to it via Google Reader (www.google.com/reader) so I usually don't see the design, Google just shows pictures and black & white text. But given that I do like your design. Keep it simple.
I was wondering, how long does it usually take you to complete a commissioned work. Maybe you could do a blog post about that. Give some different examples like "a logo design usually takes this long.... a poster design can take this long..." I know it can vary greatly depending on what the client wants. How do you calculate how long it will take when a client tells you what they are looking for?

PS. I was just in Buenos Aires and Mar de Plata in January. What'd you think of Mar de Plata? oh man... the beach was horrible. I grew up in Miami, so I know what good beaches look like. Just like you should in Brazil. But the city had some very nice parts to it.

I think you may keep this idea of simple design that you have on this version. It is very pleasant to look at. What you may change is the font and the color of your titles (h1,h2), beacause it's sometimes a bit hard to understand what is the hierarchy of your message. There is italic, bold, orange, brown, and different sizes of font. To me it's a bit hard to read sometimes, whereas your tutorials are always really clear.
