Abduzeedo's Text Effect Tutorials

May 27, 2009 from PauloGabriel's blog

Yesterday talking with a friend of mine, I sent him the link for one of our Abduzeedo photoshop text tutorials. He told me he had never seen that tutorial before, and that made me realize that since we've got so many great posts, sometimes the older tutorials may get forgotten.

So, thinking about that, I've made a roundup with most of the text effects tutorials ever made by Fabio for Abduzeedo and PSDTuts. If you don't know these it, this is a great chance to get to know some superb photoshop tutorials. I hope you enjoy these! Cheers! ;)

Reader Tutorial: Cartoon Character in Photoshop
I have been thinking of doing a cartoon version of one of my favorite characters, Agatha Christies’ Detective Hercule Poirot, always portrayed as a strong willed and serious man. Doing such an intellectual and grumpy looking character in a cartoon fashion sounded like a funny idea to me. So I got my pencil and drew and colored it entirely on Photoshop CS3.
