Abstract Portrait "Pyramid" Case Study

August 27, 2009

I really enjoy trying new stuff on Photoshop and having a positive experience while creating something and Pyramid is one of my experiments that came out to be a pretty cool abstract portrait. Here you will see step by step how it was done and hopefully that can help you on your creations.

real nice...I admire your works...

MichaelRye08/27/2009

very dull image.. nothing special

zinoi08/27/2009

looks good :D

just a couple of critiques, dont take this the wrong way im trying to help you ^^. the effects you did in the end took alway alot of contranst in the image. it makes it look flatter than you probably intended :) also the crows look really fake (and they are) i know its really hard to find the right stock for animal images but it's worth the effort :D

keep up the good work man!

DEF1308/27/2009

Well made but your creation is too dark and too flat.

KayRoseDesign08/27/2009

Looks good, apart from the fact that the crow by her face kinda looks like a mustache :)

aim08/27/2009

i agree. not a bad composition but you really took it too dull. it needs to be brighter

isra08/27/2009

>_>

not so great, i mean, the tecnique is very goob BUT...

it really say nothing lol

zangetsuBankai08/28/2009

well it started out good but somewhere along the way it was just over done i think the overuse of the pyramids in the bg made it look weak like unpro sry

lordCovenant08/28/2009

a little saturated for me but love the concept. . .

looking forward for more case studies like these! :)

No offence, but that art work is very very newbie looking... Why you release stuff like this? Don't you have some kind of filter?

Making that shit dont take even 2 hours...

Owzzz08/28/2009

Agreed with many above, the composition is good, not sure on the crow infront of her face and the final image is to dark..

apart from that I really like the idea, keep up the good work :)

The girl is beautiful - she is beauty herself. The first step is enough, but her lovely legs must be brought back.

itsphil600708/28/2009

yeah its a bit (just a lil) too dark but concept wise its very awesome.

Giulianna0208/28/2009

It's very beautiful. I like it very much.Your creation is very fantatastic......))))

SkitzoCyko08/31/2009
