Amazing Realistic 3D Computer Graphics

July 28, 2009 from PauloGabriel's blog

3D renders really impress me. It's incredible how some designers recreate things from real life on a computer, creating what we may call simulated pictures. Sometimes, we can't even tell whether an image is real or a computer graphic, and that's freaking amazing.

During a long visit to the CGSociety yesterday, I selected 30 amazing realistic 3D Computer Graphics that impressed me a lot for its rendering and textures, which turned this computer generated images into real pictures of another world. I really hope you enjoy these, and don't forget to visit each author's page by clicking the images. Cheers! ;)

Easy way to create a 90's design in Photoshop
A few days ago I've made a post about the Emigre magazine, one of the most important publications for the design community. Along with that magazine, another great publication was the Ray Gun magazine founded by David Carson. So, inspired by that, I've decided to create an art work using some of the photos I took this last summer. In that way, I would have a nice design to remember the summer of 2009.

Inspiration is everywhere, I believe everyone knows that but each one of us has some preferences or things that inspire more than others, in my case it's skateboard graphics. That's why the book suggestion of this week is about Skateboard Graphics. It's called New Skateboard Graphics. If you remember we ran a giveaway of this book 3 years ago, but I was checking it out again and had to add to our book suggestion list.
