Awesome Alphabet Illustrations
Paper crafted artwork is probably my favorite style. I believe the reason is simply because I would never be able to create something nice with this technique, at least not as nice, or I'd say amazing as the work that my fellow Brazilian Arthur Régis put together titled Cali Lifestyle. What really fascinates me is the depth that the composition gets by the order of the layers which seem to come alive at first glance. For this creative project the idea is a paper-craft piece using colored paper, foam paper and glue.
We've seen some great illustrated portraits here before, but it's those out of the box that catch our attention and show the creativity of artists out there, like these trippy portraits by Nicky Barkla. Nicky, an Australian artist, covers a lot of ground from Darth Maul to he who must not be named, and of course Walter White! These are super great, and for more, please visit her portfolio at DeviantART. I hope you enjoy these! Cheers. ;)
Chris Reath shared some incredible illustration work on his Dribbble profile most of them featuring strong contrast with some vibrant accent colors. In addition to that he beautifully worked with isometric perspectives. The result is some stunning compositions like the "paint the black hole blacker" and "An Ode to Radio Raheem". The latter was a homage to Bill Nunn.
