It's always great to see artists illustrating from cute creatures fighting to death to 80's homages, all that in shocking colors, and that's just what Leon Ryan does.

His work is pretty awesome and you should really check out his portfolio for his whole set illustrations. It'll be worth the visit for sure! I hope you enjoy these as much as I did. Cheers! ;)

Playing with CSS 3 - Animations, Rotate and Scale

I have been working on the new Abduzeedo design and have had the chance to play more with CSS 3, even though it's not fully supported on all browsers we can start using some really cool features such as round corners, text-shadow, box-shadow, transitions and transformations. The major downside still is Internet Explorer, however it seems that the IE 9 will have a much better CSS 3 support and support those features.

The wallpaper of this week is a beautiful design created by Tim & Bram Vanhaeren. They are both graphic designers based in Kapellen, Belgium and they run a design studio called Into 1. They also run Wallpaperart.org, a blog constantly in search for the most incredible wallpaper art for your desktop. Wallpaperart aims to bring the art closer to the user by involving the artists through interviews, tutorials, contests and a lot more.

The book of this week is Poke the Box. Written by Seth Godin, Poke the Box is very inspiring and motivating about initiating and shipping. It makes you think about so many things and makes you want to make things happen. If you're stuck at the starting line, you don't need more time or permission. You don’t need to wait for a boss’s okay or to be told to push the button; you just need to poke.
