Awesome Paintings by Adam Haynes

November 09, 2009 from amanda's blog

I was cruising through Behance last night looking for something cool and I was not disappointed. I happily stumbled upon the work of Oregon based painter Adam Haynes. Adam works a lot with acrylic on wood panels and I, for one, am really digging his style. The detail he puts into his paintings pleases me very much.

You can catch up with Adam on his Behance or his site. And you can also send me feedback through Twitter or Facebook.

Tips on taking your project from the paper to the wall
Sometime ago, before I got interested in street art and other tradicional medias, I was walking thru a street and stumbled with a graffiti artist painting a huge mural. Not satisfied with this simple answer, I found that after doing a few works on bigger scales I should share with you some tips on how transfer your artworks on bigger scales.

The wallpaper of this week is an abstract illustration by Sebastián Murra Ramirez, also known as MU, a graphic and motion designer from Colombia, but based in Barcelona who has a very inspiring set of abstract illustrations in his portfolio. I’m a graphic & motion designer from Cartagena de Indias, Colombia based in Barcelona (Catalonia), Spain. I believe the power of color and shape can build a better tomorrow for all of us through the ideas these two elements can communicate.

Book Suggestion: New Skateboard Graphics
Inspiration is everywhere, I believe everyone knows that but each one of us has some preferences or things that inspire more than others, in my case it's skateboard graphics. That's why the book suggestion of this week is about Skateboard Graphics. It's called New Skateboard Graphics. If you remember we ran a giveaway of this book 3 years ago, but I was checking it out again and had to add to our book suggestion list.
