The idea in this series is to show beautiful and inspiring houses. Houses that are remarkable for its design, elegance, elements, concept or simply because they are beautiful. So if you like architecture, interior design and beautifully designed houses, you are at the right spot. Check out this week beautiful house and stay tuned for more...
This week we present you the beautiful Glenbrook.
Glenbrook is a project by David Jameson Architect. Two stone structures surround a glass pavilion within a wooded landscape in Bethesda, Maryland. The concept for the Glenbrook residence was to create three distinct structures: one for the most public programs, one for the most private living programs and one where “public” and private can co-exist. Each space has an outdoor terrace or some special connection to the site while the roof of the glass pavilion folds beyond one’s cone of vision to create the feeling of being outside.
Wow, this house is super elegant and beautiful. The wide spaces, stone walls, floor, materials and lots os glass are incredible and create a really nice environment. Definitely a nice place to live ;)
Check out David Jameson Architect website for further details about this and other projects. See you next time.
We found this house at Contemporist.
