Today we will show you the beautiful IST in Čunovo, Slovakia, a project by JRKVC. This house is simple, efficient and beautiful. I love when I find projects that are doable. In my opinion, small and interesting houses a lot of times are better than huge ones. Probably because the small ones get us thinking that we can get one like it too! Big or small, nice designed houses are certainly inspiring.
Make sure to check out JRKVC website for further inspiring projects. See you next week :)
Description from the architects: House is constructed with structural insulated panels (SIP) made of OSB panels sandwiched around a foam core made of polystyrene. A massive concrete floor is used for heating and storing thermal energy. To keep the price down - Budget was fixed at € 75.000 - there are no sophisticated systems integrated in the house.
