Best | Ever: Inspiring and Realistic Artworks
- Jul 05, 2010
Browsing around Vandalog - a website that I really like - I bumped into the work of Best Ever and decided to get in touch with them to show a bit more of their work here to you. Their website is filled with really interesting artworks, so make sure to visit it.
In their short working partnership, British duo BEST | EVER have gained worldwide recognition for their unique interpretive depictions of the human form. Individually they began their careers as graffiti writers but since meeting in late 2008, have developed a more classical style together that combines intricate aerosol photorealism with traditional painterly techniques. Influenced as much by Schiele and Klimt as by their combined experience as urban artists, BEST | EVER execute sensitive subject matters such as death, disease and mental illness with soul and wisdom that belies their youth.
I really like street art and the vibe and personality that each graffiti gives to the streets. I believe that this kind of art is always sending a great message and it's exposed to everyone who walks by it, which is great. What I liked most about Best Ever artworks is that they manage to do realistic, controversial and inspiring paintings with a unique style. They really know how to get the viewers attention. Well, enough said, enjoy the images and remember to visit Best Ever. ;)
