The new Sin City movie is scheduled to be released in a couple of weeks and from the latest trailer it is looking fantastic. I love the black and white, high contrast style and I am playing with some concepts inspired by that for a new ABDZ poster. So for this post I will share some images with that sort of noir style.

Today I want to share with you a selection of really cool photography inspired by the Film Noir style. This style brings me back so much memories from my childhood watching movies like, Blade Runner, Dick Tracy, even the 1989 Batman by Tim Burton. Later on Sin City reproduced the style with perfection. Well, in theory to achieve the style we just need some black and white photos with high contrast of light and shadows, but predominance of dark.
Today I am changing a bit of the focus of the posts to focus strictly on the much anticipated launch of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Opening in theaters here in the US tomorrow, I felt compelled to celebrate the latest chapter in Star Wars history. In lieu of posting regular fan art I had to post about the work that Marko Manev posted which merges another of my passions, Noir style. The artworks are quite inspiring, simple, elegant and of course noir.
