Benjamin Güdel is a very talented illustrator and comic artist based in Zurich. He has his roots in the underground comic world but he says he became an illustrator in order to earn a living. His dynamic and expressive drawings, which are mostly begun by hand and then finished digitally, can be seen in various Swiss publications such as Weltwoche, Soda and DU as well as gracing posters for the Berlin avant-garde theatre, the Schaubühne." http://www.hotelfox.dk/

Design a logo is just a part of the process of creating a visual identity. There are so many different applications that we, as designers, have to think about and then design them. That can be business cards, brochures, envelopes and other collaterals. Now, it's very important to have in mind that this process is not simply placing the logo and that's it. Every piece has to be thought and created to commnunicate the goals and image of the company we're designing for.
Charis Tsevis is a graphic design from Athens, Greece. His work has a lot of influence from the Gestal Psicology, which he studied in College. His work is full of mosaics, portraits and images formed by thousands of tiny little photos of objects. Sometimes it reminds a bit of pixel art, simply awesome.
A few weeks ago I had the chance to watch the new Tarantino's movie, Inglourious Basterds. It took quite a while to be released in Brazil, more than 3 months after the US premiere. Nevertheless, as a huge fan of Tarantino I went to the theater and watch the movie. It's a masterpiece, in my opinion one of the best if not the best movie Tarantino has done since Pulp Fiction. The script, the comedy, the performance of the actors, specially the german guy and Brad Pitt, everything very well done and thought. Of course I couldn't forget the soundtrack, it's really good as usual.
I love colors, specially vibrant color combinations, because, that's the first thing that catches my attention, or maybe, it's because my Brazilian heritage, our carnival here is always very colorful. That's why I was very impressed by the work of Archan Nair, an artist based in New Delhi, India, with excellent illustration, mixing vibrant colors to produce some really cool work.
Yesterday I was surfing the web and I ended up on a site called Keepdrafting, where I saw some very interesting works from a talented artist called Augustine Kofie. I was amazed by his work and I thought it would be awesome to share with you. He has incredible paintings, wall paintings, illustrations, installations, and videos.
I really like patterns and I use them a lot in my designs, that's why I want to share with you some very cool images from Daniele De Nigris. An italian designer that has a very cool style, reminds another great artist Andy Gilmore.
As evidenced by cave paintings, humans have been inspired by nature since the dawn of time. While lightning makes for amazing photographs, and japanese prints capture the awe-inspiring power of tidal waves, few of nature's forces are as subtly powerful as the rainbow.
