Adrian Van Delzel is a graphic designer and illustrator from Barcelona, Spain. His work is most vector illustrations with an incredible amount of details and elements. Some characters are simply amazing, especially the Monster ones.

Last weekend I was, once again, stuck waiting more than 4 hours in aiports. So I was checking out some skateboard deck designs and found an amazing one from Girl Skateboards. The cool thing about that design was the effect, reminded me of those old signs that were painted on the walls, in old factories and industries.

Last Saturday I was in São Paulo, Brazil for the Intercon 2009, one of the biggest events about the internet culture here in my country. In this tutorial, I will show you how to create a “human torch” effect. I created this effect a few months ago in Photoshop for a tutorial for Digital Arts Magazine, and I have decided to try it in Pixelmator. The process is very similar, and the result is equally beautiful.
