Rik Oostenbroek, one of Abduzeedo's favourite artists, has just updated his portfolio. His website is now fully in flash and focuses very much on his work. If you follow Riks designs you will recognize plenty new artworks, from client work for Mazda til personal work for the latest DepthCore exhibition. But what they have in common, is that both kick asses. Rik Oostenbroek, and there is no doubt, will soon belong to the greatest artists in the web.
Beside joining design communities like DeviantArt or Behance another way to promote yourself as an artist is to enter an art group. We all know DepthCore and friends but we are always happy to find other groups that design nonprofit. Its a perfect way to express yourself without pressure from a client. Enjoy images of the newest exhibit from "The Luminarium"
A friend of mine showed me this video, saying that this movie was done by his professor. He works for a filmmaking and motion design studio based in Hamburg named weareflink. I hope to get an interview soon. This video is an introduction for the new Mercedes Benz Oil and was showcased at a private event.
Alex Trochut, based in Barcelona, is totally in love with type and illustration, thats why we love him so much. 1981 born and just graduaded from design university. But he already has a very impressive design portfolio. Make sure to check out his website
I believe "More is More". I don't believe in choosing a particular style for my work, but rather I focus on expressing myself and communicating my craft through the needs and moment of each project.

They have won over 15 of The Hollywood Reporter's Key Art Awards and created artwork for more than 400 campaigns
Alex Cornell is a San Francisco based, musician, designer & blogger for the famous design blog ISO50. He has a very clean and simple, but powerful, style which often reminds me of posters from the 80's. In this interview he will tell us a lot about how he became a musician/designer and how this complements with his job as a blogger.
Doodling finds his part in design, when you still looking for ideas how to move on with your draft. But most of the time it is done when you are bored and want to kill time. Magnus Muhr gave dead flies life when he doodled around them, and they are so funny. Enjoy
Visit Magnus Muhrs portfolio on here http://www.muhrfoto.se/ . He is a talented artist. Check him out.
Last week I published the first part and we got some really nice comments from designers all over the world. Most of them need music to finish a piece or get inspired & motivated in use of color and shapes. There were some more artists who want to spread their words.
I am a huge fan & user of graffiti style, as well as the more legal version street art. Im living in a safe city (lots of cameras) but it's still a place for people who express theirselve by painting the walls of out town. These are images taken by me and a friend around Hamburg, Altona. The place we live. Respect for all the people who's work is showcased in here.
