I've been kind of really into web apps, I sign up to almost every service I read something about it and I always think they will be useful for me. Because of that this week I will list 3 really nice web services. Also I'll list the super cool new Boagworld site.
There are really awesome links from the past week, some of them listing Abduzeedo, like the 50 designers to follow on Twitter. Also there's the very cool ISO50 Obama Print Out and the Create and we couldn't forget the Spectacular Grass Text Effect in Photoshop tutorial on PSDTUTS.

A few days ago I saw some designs from this Mexican illustrator and I was really impressed with his style and the excellent taste for color combination.
This week we will start a new series of articles that will be our weekly selection of sites. We've seen lots of great sites every day and we thought it would be very cool to share some of them with you. The list will have new sites, sites we saw in the past that are really good and have to be featured, an important redesign, or even a web app that might be very useful to all of us.
Last week was full of great articles, we had lots of news about the Friend Connect from Google, besides that there was the very interesting Smasningmagazine list of Useful Podcasts For Designers And Developers. There were many more cool posts and below we list our picks of the week

Since some people asked for this tutorial, We're going to show you guys how to create the iPhone frame. It isn't as complicated as it appears to be, and I think this is the solution that most comes closer to the original.
Notice that we're going to use mostly rectangles and bevels... just follow the steps and good luck!
STEP 1
Open a new documet. Make it 800 x 800px with background #000. Create a 280 x 557px Rounded Rectangle.
Notice that we're leaving the roundness up to you. Use your instincts! Play with the tools!
Last month we had written an post announcing that we would write 4 tutorials on how to create Light Painting in Photoshop, Fireworks, Pixelmator, and GIMP. The first was the Photoshop, and you can check it out at Create a Glowing Light Painting Effect.
I’m neither a wine expert nor drink wine that often, but I work with web design and I’ve been noticing a great variety of sites related to this subject. Besides that one thing that caught my attention is that these sites are really beautiful, well designed, and with a vibrant community.
I’ve never imagined that this subject had such a great appeal from all ages.
April has passed and we have very good links to show you, most of them are lists of the best of the month roundups. There's the best sites of the month, best tutorials, best this and best that. We are very happy because, fortunately, Abduzeedo has featured on some of these lists.

Despite the fact I'm not a big Internet Explorer fan, the challenge to recreate the IE7 logo in Fireworks is really worth it.
We're going to show you how to create these effects and how to use many new fireworks tools that we haven't used in our tutorial yet.
