Creepy Manipulations

July 09, 2010 from PauloGabriel's blog

We often get to see sunny, full of candy and happiness pieces of design from most artists... but when it comes to the other side, there are less creepy works being featured in design sites everywhere. Today, it's time for some scary inspiration.

There are all kinds of pieces here... from photography to full photoshop manips, and they're all very creepy looking. My favorite, of course, is the last one (for those who watched Toy Story 3 too). I hope you all get inspired by these and make your own creepy pieces. Also, I recommend you to visit each artist's page for more great works. Cheers! ;)

Stunning Dragons Attack in Photoshop with 3D Features
Last year I was learning how to use the 3D features in Photoshop and I did an image mixing a 3D robot with a photography and some dragons in vector. After quite sometime I was checking my images and found it, so I decided to write a tutorial showing how I did that. And, also play a bit more with the new 3D features in Adobe CS4. In this tutorial I will show you how to create an sort of video-game style image with dragons, fire, smoke, robots and other crazy things.

Book Suggestion: New Skateboard Graphics
Inspiration is everywhere, I believe everyone knows that but each one of us has some preferences or things that inspire more than others, in my case it's skateboard graphics. That's why the book suggestion of this week is about Skateboard Graphics. It's called New Skateboard Graphics. If you remember we ran a giveaway of this book 3 years ago, but I was checking it out again and had to add to our book suggestion list.
