Just today the Desktopography 2009 Exhibition was released, following the theme "Nature on your Desktop" it has the most beautiful wallpapers you can have, featuring 65 wallpapers designed by various designers from all over the globe, check it out!
Designers and developers spend about 90% of their waking life in front of a computer so the most appealing genre for a wallpaper would be one that has beautiful design mixed with the all important aspect of being outdoors.
What we see everyday can affect our mood and state of mind, enhance your desktop with a wallpaper creation from desktopography and feel the essence of nature and the outdoor existence on your computer. Bring tranquility to your desktop, feel the wilderness and give your background a breath of fresh air..

I was waiting for this to be released, and I actually checked two days ago and it wasn't up yet.
But now that it is, I can't say any of them look like wallpapers.. I dont have the desire to use many of them at all.
They're all amazing to look at though.
amazing as always
An amazing display of art work. Just set one of them up on my mac desktop, looks amazing. Thanks!
Hmm, the other exibitions are way better.
Huh... i dont like it.
Last years was much better...
Just great, When do we receive a tutorial to make those :p
The Colosseum!!!
I live in Rome, I know how beautiful it is and that wallpaper enhances its beauty.
Congratulations!
its not wallpapers... but great artwork tho
I only really like the one from Jaxe, but if I had to choose a second one, I'd go with IC3D DESIGN marcinxp.
The rest is really really cool, but not as wallpapers, these look way more like prints.
I think some of the works don't match the theme "Nature on your Desktop". There are too many items that come from our industrialized world like skyscrapers, concrete, cars and technical things
now that is some serious work there.......awesome desktopography.........thanks for sharing
Ish
Excellent to much talent there, i love the color and the feelings on some of those.
I don't know... It seems like the theme for this year was, "let's see how much stuff we can photoshop onto one image." In year's past, the images seemed to be just as stunning, but less cluttered. If these were students in my class, I'd give them an A+; but since these should be the cream of the crop, they get a solid B from me. Better luck next year... show me something I've never seen before!
Is it just me or is the lens flare making a come back? There's a lot of rainbow spectrums and lens flares in this selection.
wow inspiring indeed
check out this guys work its pretty neat
