Eerie Urban Misty Night Photography

November 29, 2011 from PauloGabriel's blog

Misty nights in the city have that eerie, peaceful feel to it, but at the same time it's so fragile, as if it was just waiting for something to break the silence...

... like a monster, right at your face. Ok, just kidding... maybe I'm referring Stephen King too much, but these do remind me of The Mist, for obvious reasons. But these are indeed some amazing photographs taken by some very talented people who took their time to picture the night fog, which is pretty cool. You should really pay them a visit, 'cause I know it will be worth the visit. I hope you enjoy these. Cheers! ;)

P.S.: If you got your own urban misty night pictures, share it with us by dropping a comment with it attached. ;)

In this tutorial I will show you how to create a really cool effect. First, we will use basic filters to create a 3D text effect; then, we will blend some stock photos and textures to produce one hell of a wallpaper. Step 1

Wallpaper of the Week #69 - Retro Heroes
The wallpaper of this week is a design I created inspired by the Heroes series. I did the image because I wanted to try to create the eclipse effect of the opening titles of that show using only Photoshop. Of course in the end I had to add some little textures to make it looks a bit older, with that vintage feel. Check out the tutorial: Very Easy Heroes Eclipse in Photoshop.
