Our good buddy Gordon Reid aka Middle Boop is an Illustrator and Designer based in London, United Kingdom. Gordon has been experimenting with a poster series inspired by quotes from our childhood classic films.
I love neon light and the light effects that they create. I also wrote a few Photoshop tutorials back in the day showing how to reproduce this kind of effect, nothing as fancy and realistic as the work that RADA put together in Cinema 4D for a personal project inspired by the work of Mathias Nösel. The outcome is quite beautiful and the first time I saw I was sure that it was real neon and not 3d.

I don’t believe we have shared the work from Thomas Price before, he is a designer based in Kansas City, USA. From his work, it’s great to see Thomas experimenting and playing with different mediums throughout his work. For this project for example, as a role of designer/letterer; he was mixing text content for the National Turkey Federation with food split in two on a plate with the other half with type. I think the results are quite simple but a fantastic concept! What do you think?
We have seen some pretty awesome projects here featuring religious matters, such as the Bible books posters by Jim LePage, and we find super great when designers get to translate to design their beliefs.
Michael Masinga, a South African designer, came up with these great typographic posters featuring Proverbs from the Bible. Of course there are plenty of views out there, but the Proverbs have some pretty great thoughts about life and spirituality worth sharing.
