Ginormous Inspiration courtesy of Flickr

July 01, 2008 from abduzeedo's blog

Flickr is such a great place to find inspiration. There are people from all over the world sharing their art, and it's amazing to see all the different perspectives from all sorts of subjects.

I'm always on the look out for new designs and artists, and I think the "add to faves" feature is really useful to bookmark this inspiration. Now in this huge post I want to share some of my favorite images that I've added to my faves in the past few months.

Due to this post's massive list, the page might take a while to load, so bear with me. It's definitely worth the wait.

Money Style Illustration in Photoshop
Last Saturday I went to the movies to watch Wall Street Money Never Sleeps. It was a nice movie, even though I was expecting something much better in terms of story and special effects, there were some cheesy ones, however in the end during the credits the design they created a really nice animation with money illustration, I don't know the name of the effect in english, but I loved it, so I came back and decided to try to do that in Photoshop.

The wallpaper of this week is an image created by Vlad Axinte, a self-taught designer from Romania. The image is called "Coordinates of Chaos" and it was inspired by street art and grafitti. I tried to take the street art into a digital environment using my Wacom Bamboo Pen and Adobe Photoshop CS5 For more information visit Vlad Axinte's Web site at http://www.behance.net/lexington
