Wanted, The Matrix

spiderman865609/02/2008

Wow, so many its hard to choose! I've got several to try and name. Most John Woo movies have good shoot out scenes (ie Face/Off, MI2, Hard Boiled), as does La Femme Nikita, Smokin' Aces, and of course the Matrix lobby scene. I also wish to include Boondock Saints, True Romance, Equilibrium, and Heat.

Balron09/02/2008

OMG That looks awesome!

Shoot Em Up (having sex and shooting at once...umm)
Equilibrium (just awesome)
Matrix (u know..)

scedy09/03/2008

Awesome!!

I casted a deep glance at the VideoCopilot.net website, and i should tell that i was blown-away! Litterraly "abducted"..! lol.. What an awesome job they do! Big respect to the team..!

Naming movies using those awesome shots..? lol.. Of course, the top-listed Matrix Trilogy (The Matrix, The Matrix Reloaded, The Matrix Revolutions from Wachowski Bro').

I can also cite 300 (2007, Zack Snider), a great movie too in which yu can find such dramatic shots especially during the battle against Persians (you should see this masterpiece movie!).

TRANSFORMERS (2007, Michael Bay) too, use spectacular bullet-time sequences (during the big battle in the city). SUPERMAN RETRUNS (2006, Bryan Singer) when in a sequence (among many others!), a bullet fired by a man is slowly tracked from the gun to Superman's eye, and finally crushed on it).

And the hilarious SHREK(2001) and SCARY MOVIE(2000)!!

Cheers!!

Those are super movies I watched and that use awesome shots! Great, great, great!!

Zim09/04/2008

Well, a nice movie with shots is Hitman. I liked it so much. We must mention Matrix, those scenes where really outstanding. Straight Shooter wasn't the best movie I saw ever, but it had nice gun fights too.

royceaquatic09/04/2008

Enemy at the Gates
Saving Private Ryan

Die Hard movies

Hard Boiled
The Killer
Face/Off (John Woo always has awesome Gunplay shots)

True Romance
Domino
Desperado

too many to name, but that's a good few

Pizzaboxknight09/04/2008

Great giveaway! The stuff on this blog just keeps getting better.

soundboy09/05/2008

Scarface! wow the final gunfight scene in Tony's mansion... epic.

Wanted? I don't know... it's fun to watch the exaggeration but in the end it's not satisfying. That bullet shot by Angelina Jolie? Gimme a break.

Heat! That gunfight looks so real it's scary.

Reservoir Dogs. The scene where three guys are simultaneously pointing their guns at each other. Not exactly the most elaborate action sequence, but the tension just eats you from the inside.

toddor09/06/2008

Well.. let me think

Rambo
Heat
Revolver
Open Range
Unforgiven
Shoot'em up
Saving Private Ryan
Mr & Mrs Smith
Hot Shots :P
Lethal Weapon
Hitman
The Matrix
Wanted

and last, I've just watched "Hard Target", it was a lot of shooting there
